COLORADO MORTGAGE TEAM GIVES BACK

One of The Colorado Mortgage Team's core values is to give back to our community and planet.  Below are of some of the ways we have put these values into practice.

Homes for Heroes

One of our favorite organizations that rewards our true community heroes!  This program enables us to cover the appraisal costs for our Firefighters, Law Enforcement, Military, Health Care & Education Professionals whenever they purchase or refinance real estate.  Learn more at Colorado Hero!

We all love our fur children and we would do anything for ours as we are sure you would for yours.  Unfortunately not all furballs have it so good.  DMK Rehoming located in Littleton, CO works to provide vetting, training, and spay/neuter outreach to dogs in need.  DMK Rehoming rescues Death Row Dogs and helps them find their forever home through adoption.  Learn more at DMK Rehoming

Unfortunately not everyone in the world is as fortunate as us.  Did you know that 29% of the world does not have access to clean water.  We found A local church running a fireworks stand where 100% of the proceeds went to providing fresh water wells (like this one) to remote villages in the Philippines!  Of course we bought extra fireworks for the kids and decided to give towards the cause as well.  Check out the photos on Facebook.  Philippines Water Wells

Having kids ourselves we have always been passionate about helping those less fortunate than ours.  Over the years we have actively participated and given to community gardens, ski trips, rally's for the teachers and school lunches for those in need to name just a few.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary is the oldest and largest nonprofit Sanctuary in the world dedicated exclusively to rescuing captive exotic and endangered large carnivores, providing them with a wonderful life for as long as they live, and educating about the tragic plight faced by an estimated 30,000 such animals in America today.  Visit The Wild Animal Sanctuary to see ways you can help.

As avid hikers and outdoor enthusiats we are passionate about protecting Colorado's natural beauty.  Colorado Fourteeners Initiative (CFI) protects and preserves the natural integrity of Colorado’s 54 14,000–foot peaks —the “Fourteeners”— through active stewardship and public education.  Colorado’s Fourteeners contain rare and fragile native alpine tundra ecosystems that are uniquely adapted to living on these high peaks, some of which exist nowhere else on earth.  CFI partners with the US Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and passionate volunteers and donors nationwide to minimize resource damage from hikers.
